Eagles and Oysters

Eageltour
Discover the beautiful "lions" of the air. There are several pairs of Sea Eagles breed in the Wadden Sea and they benefit from the right food that the Wadden Sea offers. At the Wadden Sea there are thousands of geese, ducks and wading birds and perhaps you will get the chance to see the Sea Eagles go in search of them.

Enjoy thousands of bramgas who sleep on the wading and in the morning fly out to the day's foraging points. Our bird guide is waiting for you at Ballum sluice (about 20 minutes drive by own car from the hotel) and after a few hours at the lock where we have some coffee with the turns will back over the dam and enjoy another game of the many geese and birds of prey.

Remember warm clothes and bring a binoculars. It is also possible to borrow binoculars.

Dark sky and Amber Tour are offered either on the day of arrival or day 2. There is an extra price of 185,- kr and include loans of amber lantern, hot chocolate with rum and we see stars and planets from the hotel large binoculars.

Oyster pick and cooking
In The Commander's backyard wading sea, you can pick oysters galore. Then coarse and fine scrubbed the fresh Pacific oysters. In different cooking teams, we prepare them in different ways. Together we enjoy our oysters with pearly Cava. And well, there's so many oysters that you can bring some home, too. Just remember a container.

Dates and times 2023

Unfortunately, when the eagle trip coincides with low tide, we have to postpone the eagle ride until the day of departure. (However, it has the advantage that you can then drive straight home from this trip) After all, breakfast is always served before the tour.
