Black sun and oysters

2 nights in standard room including breakfast, Sønderjysk coffee table, fish buffet and 1 season menu, Guided oyster tour including breakfast.  preparation and 1 gl. cava as well as Black Sun tour with guide. 

These stays are arranged in spring and autumn, both weekdays and on weekends. 

Prices

Bring:
Oyster tour: Practical clothes, including: Klong, tight-fitting rubber boots, work gloves that may get wet and old clothes (which may get dirty). In addition, you may need to bring a bag for Oysters you want to take home.

Black Sun tour: Be careful when you need to see black sun, seating pads and binoculars.

Swimwear and riding clothes if necessary

We provide: Buckets, bobsleigh, walking sticks, headlamp (dark).

• Free access to pool, steam room, tepidarium, saunas and fitness.

Program (with reserves for changes in order)

Remember the weather will determine the tide. In the field of storms, it may be difficult to go out into the Wadden Sea.  

Day of arrival

16.00 Welcome and the final programme is reviewed adapted to the wind and weather . 

(simple dates, black sun or oyster picking is arranged on the day of arrival – see table!)

18.00 - 21.00  Kommandørgården's fish buffet (may also be on day 2)

The bar is open. 

Day 2

7.30am - 10am Breakfast buffet (maybe sooner if we pick oysters early)

Guided oyster tour including cooking in Kommandørgården's backyard, the Wadden Sea. We pick oysters with our guide and cook oysters in at least 4 different ways in the cozy roundwood hut (Saloon Pinetanas) a few meters from the Wadden Sea. Oysters are enjoyed with cool Cava.  Remember knee-high rubber boots and rain pants, as well as garden gloves, as we can get very dirty. If you're walking, don't go to the Wadden Sea. It requires a reasonably good shape. You can then choose to wait at the beachfront or at the Saloon and taste the other people's harvest. 

Guided Black Sun tour. You meet with the guide at an agreed location as we tell on arrival.  (remember passports as the starlings may be in Germany). Black sun may be combined with a border shopping trip. Some dates are black sun tour on the day of arrival. 

19.00 – 22.30 Late dinner, 3 course seasonal menu of the chef's choice. In autumn we have Rømø lamb.
